Integrated circuits (ICs) form the backbone of modern electronics, and they broadly fall into three categories: analog, digital, and mixed-signal (which combine analog and digital). The development tools used to design and verify these circuits are critical — they enable designers to create complex chips, test performance, ensure reliability, and optimize power and area.

What Are Analog and Digital IC Development Tools?

  • Analog IC development tools: These are used for designing circuits that operate on continuous signals — amplifiers, filters, voltage regulators, and other analog building blocks.
